Being a second shooter kind of feels like cheating.
Capturing what’s happening around me is fairly straightforward when I have an expert photographer telling everyone what to do (and having an actual model as the bride helps too!). All I have to do is tag along.
The real challenge will be learning how to be the one with the ideas and give the directions. I’ll figure that out yet, and it’s probably a lot harder than I anticipate… but considering this is my third wedding and only seven months ago I didn’t have a clue how to operate a camera, I feel pretty proud of myself… and I know my daddy would be super proud too😊
