Way back when I was a volunteer, looking after kids in Alberta, part of the daily routine was singing time.
Which means I had earworms constantly.
After several months of Father Abraham being ever-present in my brain, I sat down one day and wrote this entire arrangement in one day. It just sorta came out. Which is weird because that never, ever happens to me.
This is the only time I performed it publicly, at the Off to Egypt! fundraiser concert that I did in 2008 to cover the cost of my MCC Learning Tour trip.
And then my dear, wonderful roommates humoured me by dressing up and leading the audience in singing the whole song. With actions. So great!
